About the job MAIN OBJECTIVE In this role, the Food and Beverage intern will be able to fully experience the various F&B outlets and event operations of Nobu Hotel Barcelona with a hands-on approach. After completing this program, the intern will have learned the operations behind a professional food and beverage department and will be fully immersed in the Nobu culture. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Displays a friendly and professional attitude at all times., • Ensures alignment with the Nobu culture and Nobu operational standards., • Maintains a good professional appearance complying with hotel’s grooming and uniform standards and behaves in a mature and proficient manner in and out of the workplace., • Respects schedules and timeliness while being flexible based on business needs., • Monitors and maintains cleanliness and working condition of departmental equipment, supplies and work areas., • Learns and follows safety standards and emergency procedures., • Promotes positive relations with guests, vendors and employees alike., • Always promotes a can-do attitude to any guest requests and recognize that guest service and attention to detail is your top priority., • Performs all other duties as directed by management that are consistent with the policies and procedures of the hotel. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND TASKS • Learn Nobu cuisine (different menus, ingredients for key Nobu dishes, cooking styles, etc) in order to flawlessly explain it to guests as needed., • Learn floor plans of each outlet., • Learn and execute shift opening and closing procedures., • Prepare back and front of house areas for service., • Provide service to guests in all aspects of food and beverage, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and events following Nobu standards., • Provide a genuine greeting “Good afternoon/evening and welcome to Nobu or Irasshaimase”, and upon departure, thank them providing them with a genuine farewell., • Attend and participate in all departmental meetings, training sessions and other information meetings as and when requested to do so. Number of positions: 3 500€/month 1-week free stay in the Nobu Hotel * Free staff canteen (1 meal per day) Department: F&B service About you Physical Effort and Environment: Must be able to carry up to 6 kilos and must be able to sit or stand for 8 hours in one day based on business needs. Work Schedule: Must be available to work during any shifts, including evening and, if required on occasion overnight. Must be available to work weekends and holidays if needed. Qualifications Education & Experience: Currently studying hospitality management. Prior working experience in a hotel or restaurant is valuable. Computer & Other Technical Skills: Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word. Micros a plus but not a must. Communication: Must be fluent in English and intermediate Spanish valuable. Languages required: . (Mecánica, Electricidad y Chapa/Pintura) Desde nuestra consultora de selección estamos buscando operarios/as de taller especializados en mecánica, electricidad y chapa/pintura de vehículos industriales, autobuses y camiones, para una importante empresa del sector, ubicada en la zona Barcelona. Si tienes experiencia en el área y buscas un proyecto estable, con posibilidades de crecimiento y apoyo en tu incorporación, ¡esta es tu oportunidad! Tus funciones (según tu especialidad): • Mecánica: mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo, reparación de motores, frenos, suspensión, transmisiones ..., • Electricidad: diagnosis y reparación de sistemas eléctricos/electrónicos, climatización, iluminación, apertura, etc., • Chapa y pintura: reparación de carrocerías, preparación de superficies y aplicación de pintura en cabina industrial. Qué buscamos en ti: • Experiencia mínima de 2 años en talleres de automoción o vehículos industriales, autobuses y/o camiones., • Formación técnica en mecánica, electromecánica, electricidad del automóvil o chapa/pintura., • Imprescindible nivel medio de español (oral y escrito)., • Responsabilidad, orientación a la calidad y capacidad para trabajar en equipo. Se valorará experiencia en: • Flotas de autobuses o camiones (Mercedes, Volvo, Scania, lveco, etc.)., • Diagnosis electrónica (CAN BUS, Euro 6, híbridos)., • Experiencia internacional en talleres de vehículos industriales (Latinoamérica, Europa del Este, Norte de África)., • Otros idiomas (inglés o francés)., • Perfiles tanto nacionales como internacionales: gestionamos permisos de trabajo si fuese necesario y apoyamos económicamente la incorporación.
