Role: System Integration Specialist Skills: AWS, Rest/Soap/API and Data Lake/Data modelling/Data pipelines/Data lakes. Location: Madrid Spain Type: Permanent We are at Coforge hiring for System Integration Specialist with AWS, Rest/Soap/API and Data Lake/Data modelling/Data pipelines/Data lakes. Job Responsibilities: • Design, deliver, and actively participate in integration solutions for new projects or systems., • Work hands-on with IT engineering teams to ensure integration solutions are implemented as designed, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle., • Define and govern integration architectures across a variety of business domains, ensuring interoperability between legacy and modern systems., • Apply best practices in cloud integration (AWS), APIs, microservices, event-driven and batch processing, security, and data management., • Lead and facilitate technical workshops with architects, engineering, data, security, and business stakeholders. Challenge requirements and propose pragmatic, cost-effective integration solutions., • Design, maintain, and update integration and architecture artefacts and documents (interface specifications, designs documents, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams, etc.)., • Ensure all integration solutions are secure, resilient, compliant, and aligned to enterprise standards., • Operate within formal architecture and integration governance frameworks, presenting designs for review forums and securing approvals., • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, Data Teams, Architects, Security, and business SMEs to ensure integration designs are understood, agreed, and delivered by engineers on time. This person will be part of the CIO Engineering team but focused on the Design and the Integration., • Communicate in English complex technical integration and architecture concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders., • Demonstrate a proactive, flexible, and hands-on approach, adapting to project needs and actively driving integration activities to successful completion. Mandatory Skills: • 5+ years of Proven experience as a System Integration Specialist, Solution Architect, IT Integrator or similar role., • Demonstrable track record of producing integration design artefacts (Example interface specifications, Architectures, Designs, data flow diagrams, security models, etc.)., • Strong experience operating within architecture or integration governance frameworks, including presenting designs to Architecture or Integration Boards., • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical integration designs in simple terms., • Proactive, flexible, and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to get involved at all levels of detail and support engineering teams to achieve successful integration outcomes within agreed timelines of the project., • English C1 LEVEL as the environment is fully English native. Desirable: • Hands-on experience working directly with engineering teams to implement, troubleshoot, and optimize integration solutions., • Experience with large-scale transformation programmes or Banking migrations that also involving legacy systems, complex integrations, and regulatory or operational constraints., • Broad, practical understanding of modern integration patterns and technologies, example:, • Cloud & On Prem Infrastructure (AWS, S3, EC2, Databases, Servers, etc), • APIs & Integrations: REST, SOAP, Kafka, messaging, events, file/batch, microservices, middleware, …, • Batch and real-time processing patterns - Security by design: authentication, authorization, encryption, key management, API security, data protection,, • Data and Data Lake: data modelling, data pipelines, data lakes., • Nice to have - AI patterns (RAG, LLMs, Vector Database)
