Asegúrese de leer la descripción completa a continuación. • Assists residents with loading and unloading from facility approved vehicles., • Ensures the safe transportation of residents to scheduled medical appointments or other approved activities and outings., • Maintains the interior and exterior of facility vehicles to promote safe and comfortable transport and project a positive image in the community., • Monitors vehicle maintenance logs and delivers vehicles for regularly scheduled maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations., • Performs all other duties as assigned., • Is flexible with work time (in the event a resident appointment or activity runs late)., • Has training and is able to demonstrate safe clinical-based transfer techniques for, • Ingress and egress of mobile patients with van transfers of patients into and out of wheelchairs., • Properly securing wheel‑chair bound residents into bays in vans., • Lifting transfer and mobilizing patient weights of up to 70 pounds by self in confined areas inside a van., • Can make complex decisions involving a highly dependent patient base. Supervisory Requirements This position has no supervisor responsibilities. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED., • Minimum age 25 years., • Valid driver’s license., • Familiarity with GPS and local driving area., • No traffic crimes in the last 7 years; DUI, DWS, reckless driving, or traffic felonies are disqualifying. No more than 2 moving violations in 3 years and no more than one accident in 3 years., • Passes a drug screen and background check., • Language skills: ability to read, write, and understand job‑related instructions and manuals; ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, and residents., • Mathematical skills: ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations., • Reasoning ability: ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form., • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products., • Completion of CNA training and maintenance of all continuing education to keep certification. Physical Demands • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds., • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, read, or hear.
