We are seeking a Junior Capital Markets and Financing Analyst, a highly motivated and driven individual who is eager to learn, innovate, and grow. As part of our Capital Markets team in Madrid, you will play a key role in supporting the structuring, execution, and monitoring of financing transactions for a diverse range of assets and investment vehicles. This means you’ll be at the heart of deals in sectors such as real estate, infrastructure, and private equity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Play a crucial role in gathering and organizing information to support financing transactions., • Prepare financial documentation including amortization schedules, term sheets, financial model inputs, and due diligence packages., • Craft internal presentations for the Investment Committee to secure approval of financing transactions., • Maintain and update comprehensive databases of financing transactions, contractual terms, and maturity dates in SAP., • Provide logistical support for transaction execution: managing signatures, powers of attorney, due diligence processes, disbursement conditions, and budgets., • Support the entire lifecycle of deals, from closing processes and post-transaction reporting to waiver management and legal documentation control., • Assist in managing and contracting financial hedging strategies, including gathering quotes, maintaining records, and coordinating with counterparties., • Coordinate operationally with external advisors, appraisers, hedge providers, due diligence teams, legal advisors, and lenders., • Negotiate with lenders and counterparties key sections of contracts and term sheets to ensure favourable terms and alignment with Azora’s strategic objectives., • Review and validate that Azora’s specific requirements and conditions are fully reflected and protected in the final financing agreements., • Monitor and control structuring costs associated with financing deals., • Collaborate closely with internal teams across investment, asset management, technical, legal, and financial departments to gather and manage essential data., • Analyze financial models and ensure compliance with covenants and other financial obligations., • Support the structuring and acquisition process to facilitate financing., • Review target companies' balance sheet structures to assess for potential financial assistance. REQUIREMENTS • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new environments and constant changes., • Excellent teamwork and internal/external communication skills., • Technical rigor and accountability in task execution., • A genuine interest in the real estate, infrastructure, private equity, and structured finance sectors., • Proactivity, a hands-on attitude, and a passion for continuous learning., • Strong international communication skills—this position requires daily interaction with professionals from diverse backgrounds and nationalities., • Ability to work with complex legal and financial documentation. EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE • 1 to 3 years of experience in similar roles within banking, financial consulting, investment funds, or professional legal firms., • A university degree in Business Administration, Law and Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field., • High proficiency in English, especially in financial contexts. The role will be primarily conducted in English., • Additional training in Corporate Finance, MBA, CFA is a plus., • Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of financial modeling tools or software is valued.
