MISSION OF THE ROLE We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technology Sales Executive – Data & AI Solutions to play a strategic role in expanding our IT and digital solutions portfolio, with a focus on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud-based transformation services across the Retail, Energy, or Telecommunications sectors. This is not just a sales role it is a strategic growth position that requires market insight, consultative acumen, and the ability to connect complex technological solutions with real business value. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly motivated, and has extensive experience in selling IT and data-driven solutions, with a strong understanding of digital transformation and the technological ecosystems driving innovation in Retail, Energy or Telco industries. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. New Business Development Identify, research, and target prospective clients through various channels. Proactively generate and qualify leads, with a focus on net-new client acquisition and high-value opportunities. 2. Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with company growth objectives in digital, cloud, and data solutions. Maintain a full pipeline across different stages of the sales cycle with consistent deal progression. Take ownership of the full sales cycle from lead generation to proposal, negotiation, and contract closure. 3. Customer Engagement & Consultative Selling Conduct needs assessments and discovery meetings to understand client challenges, business goals, and digital maturity. Position and tailor Data, AI, and digital solutions to meet client needs and drive measurable value. Act as a trusted advisor to the customer, demonstrating an understanding of their business and articulating the value of our solutions clearly. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with pre-sales, technical consultants, solution architects, and delivery teams to design and validate proposed solutions. Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns and events aimed at lead generation and brand awareness. Coordinate with Operations and Delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and adoption post-sale. 5. Market & Industry Insight Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to position Konecta’s offering effectively. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product portfolio, internal processes, and relevant certifications in Cloud, AI, and Data Analytics. 6. Sales Reporting & Forecasting Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of opportunities, activities, and customer interactions. Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management. Track key sales metrics (e.g., conversion rates, sales cycle length) and identify areas for improvement. 7. Representing the Company Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings as required. Promote our brand values, innovation culture, and commitment to digital transformation in every engagement. REQUIREMENTS >10 years of experience in B2B sales in the IT/digital solutions, infrastructure, or software industry for the Retail / Energy sector or Telecommunication sector. Experience with the company's core technologies: BI, Big Data, and AI. Experience in selling IT services, especially Big Data and AI. Experience with technology solutions (software, cloud, data analytics, AI, and digital transformation). Proven track record of new business acquisition and meeting/exceeding sales targets Strong understanding of the IT market and digital transformation solutions Familiarity with energy sector regulations, emerging trends in sustainability and digital transformation, and the compliance landscape around environmental standards, safety, and energy trading. Familiarity with telecom regulations, emerging connectivity trends, and the evolving landscape of data privacy, security, and compliance Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Self-starter with a proactive and result-oriented approach to sales Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and translate them into business value Fluent English We look forward to reviewing your application and exploring how your experience can contribute to our team’s success.
