We at Wrap N Rolla are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in front of house, cooking and leadership. (Working in street food is a bonus) Wrap N Rolla is an independently owned food stall but part of a big community in Hackney bridge which is on the canal in Hackney wick. We are a growing business which also do events and festivals so there is opportunity for growth and training within our team. We're a fast-expanding company and we can offer the opportunity to driven individuals to become an Assistant Manager with 6 months. Duties: - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards - Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies - Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas - Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures - Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed - Based on 40hr contract over 5 days mostly 10-5 with some doubles no later than 10:30pm Skills: - Some experience in a high-volume kitchen environment - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology - Strong communication skills to effectively work and lead the team. - Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively - We are open Tuesday to Sunday and offer flexible scheduling for our employees. The ideal candidate The Project Manager will be the driving force behind the success, stability and execution of our building projects throughout the entire development process. You will be responsible for the planning, design and construction from commencement to completion and subsequent facilitation of the handover. Key Responsibilities ● Steering building projects from inception to handover and completion ● Liaison with other I.Chime team members in improving the management processes and structures. ● Procuring construction works including main contracts, enabling works, major packages and specialist trades working closely with I.Chime Management Team. You will also support the generation and approval of tenders. ● You will monitor the progress of our projects, report and report remedial actions to management, effectively manage the project budget and all costs to ensure successful completion within budget estimates coupled with compliance with best practice and meeting the specified quality and standards. ● Your duties will include the preparation of progress reports, incorporation of contractor and consultant project reports and briefing the team. ● You will monitor and update project financial forecasts and cash flows, manage construction project teams, chair meetings with design teams, cost consultants, contractors and other specialists/stakeholders. ● You will occasionally report to the director as required and conduct regular strategic planning and forecast in addition to assembling information for invoicing at the end of projects. ● You will also be able to manage and coordinate construction activities/sites ensuring strict adherence to health and safety on site and that each project is delivered in accordance with the RAMS for the project. ● You will work schedules based on prior discussion with clients, architects, surveyors etc. ● You will be responsible for temporarily hiring, inducting and supervising staff. ● You will conduct forecast assessments of potential challenges and disruptions to ongoing projects, including the impact of traffic and new developments. ● You will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring that materials and construction methods are compliant with specifications and statutory requirements and that there are no deviations from agreed plans. Skills and Qualifications: ● Ideally ICE,MRICS, MCIOB or other suitable professional bodies considered (but not essential) ● A good academic background is essential; therefore, the prospective candidate must have an undergraduate degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or any related subject. ● A complimentary postgraduate qualification in either Project Management or Construction Management will be essential. ● A minimum of 5 years in building and project management experience, as well as proven project delivery experience at planning and construction stages will be essential. ● A full understanding of project delivery, costs, and programme management in both residential and commercial settings. ● You will have the ability to compile project programmes, review, amend and update them using MS Project, Aster or similar construction programme software. ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills ● A dynamic individual with a pro-active approach and excellent problem-solving skills. ● A hands-on approach and a willingness to work with and alongside the team. ● A proven ability to lead and build strong relationships with internal and external teams. ● An effective team leader and team player with the ability to work autonomously and work under own initiative. ● Excellent design skills and high proficiency at understanding building regulations. ● Willingness to undergo of and on-the-job training. ● Good interpersonal skills and eloquence in English. Salary: £34,000 per annum plus upselling commissions. Schedule: Full – Time, 40 hours, Monday to Sunday, 5 days on and 2 days off. Overseeing the general daily operations. Liaising with all relevant departments to ensure that guest service is consistently maintained up to standards. Assist in leading and training the team. Dealing with guest satisfaction. To acknowledge and take charge of guest special requests, feedback, and complaint. Serve as the main point of contact for VIP Guests and ensure all departments are fully briefed on their requirements. Keep Front Office Manager and Operations Manager informed of all developments and guest feedback. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
