Summary of Post / Job Purpose Join our dynamic team as a Deputy Shop Manager, where you'll play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the retail operations of CSGSU Trading Limited. You'll manage our vibrant retail outlet at the Tooting campus, an engaging online store, and retail services at various events. Your mission is to ensure top-notch service that meets the needs of students and customers while driving financial performance. You'll support the Commercial Manager (Retail) in maintaining high standards across all retail services, creating a safe and welcoming environment. This role offers the opportunity to innovate, lead, and contribute to the Union's success, with all profits reinvested to enhance the student experience. Responsibilities Customer Service:Greet customers with a warm and friendly welcome, providing excellent service throughout their shopping experience.Assist customers in finding products, answering their questions, and offering product recommendations.Handle customer complaints and returns in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction. Store Operations:Keep the store clean, tidy, and well - organized, including shelving, displays, and aisles.Stock shelves with new products, ensuring that items are properly priced and labeled. Assist with the opening and closing procedures of the store, including tasks such as counting cash and setting up displays. Sales and Merchandising:Promote products and special offers to customers, increasing sales and customer awareness.Help with the visual merchandising of the store, creating attractive displays to enhance the shopping experience.Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or overstocks to the store manager. Requirements Experience:Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential. We are willing to train the right candidate. Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.Strong customer service orientation, with a passion for providing a positive shopping experience.Basic numerical and literacy skills, as well as the ability to operate a cash register and other retail equipment. Availability:Must be available to work flexible part - time hours, including evenings and weekends. Personal Attributes:Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.A positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.A neat and professional appearance.

Skilled Worker visa sponsoring Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: £38,200 per annum Job Purpose: The Shop Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail flower shop, managing the retail team, ensuring a high level of customer service, and assisting with inventory, display, and sales activities. This role ensures that the store functions efficiently, maintains visual standards, and delivers a quality shopping experience for customers.

You will work onsite and report into the Assistant or Store Manager and your role could be to help on the tills, advise our customers, or work in our back shop. You will also: Help our customers and put them at ease; whether that’s listening to find out more about them, answering questions and giving great advice on our fantastic products, recommending items they hadn’t considered or simply offering a basket - it's the little things that make a difference
