Job Title: Chef 📍 Location: BH4 9LA 💷 Salary: £15 per hour ⏰ Hours: Full-time, Days About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents. You will play a key role in ensuring mealtimes are a positive and enjoyable experience. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook balanced, nutritious meals in line with dietary requirements. Cater for specific needs including allergens, fortified diets, and dysphagia management. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen. Plan menus that are varied, seasonal, and resident-focused. Work collaboratively with staff to support residents’ health and wellbeing. Requirements: Extensive chef experience, ideally within care homes, healthcare, or similar environments. Strong understanding of dietary requirements and specialist diets. Professional culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery). Food Hygiene certification. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.
