Artisan Eatery is an intimate eatery on Ladbroke Grove near the entrance of the iconic Portobello Market and we are looking for a barista. This area is steeped in art, music , paintings or other creatives and Artisan Eatery is a a reflection of this as well as bringing an artisinal food vibe to the community with the philosophy of Respectfully Bought, Responsibly Made and Proudly Served. We are looking for a trained Barista with a passion for coffee, from bean to cup! Who understands the science behind how to make a great coffee and who loves creating perfect cups of coffee! The role involves making coffee , taking orders on the Pos system, serving food and drink to customers and upholding the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the coffee shop. Apart from a love of coffee you must have a good grasp of the English language to chat to customers, be able to work under pressure and have the right to work in the UK.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and storage areas. Cleaning & Maintenance: Clean and sanitize tables, counters, and equipment regularly. Follow all health and safety guidelines for food handling and storage. Restock supplies in the kitchen and front-of-house as needed. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively to anticipate and address customer needs. Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience as a barista, waitress, or kitchen assistant is preferred. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
