We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team at the Macchina. This position is offered on a part time or shift basis and may be suitable for more than one candidate. Working in a busy commercial kitchen you will be responsible for washing, drying and restacking kitchen and service wares and assisting with general kitchen functions. For candidates who are interested, there may be opportunities to assist with food preparation and presentation and/or Front of House activities. Training will be provided and for any aspect of the job in which the candidate has limited experience. While this is an entry-level position, there is plenty of room for learning and growth. Ellary’s is a neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of Brockley with an established customer base in a vibrant community. We are a small, friendly team working in an open plan kitchen that allows for a great working relationship with front of house. This role is for a Kitchen Assistant to assist the Head Chef and CDP with prep and cleaning. It would require Kitchen Porter duties as well as Kitchen Assistant duties. There is also the potential to help on service as and when required. The role is for 20 hours per week, Thursday to Sunday.
