We are looking for a versatile hospitality professional with experience as a breakfast barista, including latte art, as well as floor service, hosting and events. The role involves: • Creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests., • Seating guests promptly and responding to requests and queries efficiently., • Taking and accurately communicating food and beverage orders., • Preparing coffees according to assigned shifts., • Providing safe, efficient and consistently high-quality food and beverage service., • Setting up, clearing and promptly servicing tables., • Developing knowledge of the food and beverage offering to answer guest questions confidently., • Maintaining awareness of allergens and relevant guest requirements. The Ugly Duck in Brixton Village - Barista We are The Ugly Duck, a small independent café opening in October in the heart of Brixton Village, and we’re looking for a brilliant barista to join us from day one. We’ll be serving great speciality coffee, cold-pressed juices, seasonal drinks and a small selection of wines in the evening as well as deli sandwiches, counter bakes and evening snacks. You’ll be making great coffee, preparing juices and drinks, chatting with customers, helping to keep the place looking good and generally helping The Ugly Duck become the great cafe we want it to be.
