The Thatched Garage is an Independent JLR Specialist. We have been in Business since 1987, we offer everything to do with Jaguar Land Rover's. We have a great team and even buy all our staff lunch on a Friday. At The Thatched Garage we are in search of an experienced technician to join our team. We are looking for someone that is able to work on their own or as part of a team, We are looking for someone we an advanced diagnostic background, at Dealer Level. Also IMI Level 3 trained, this is not essential though. The role would consist of: Carrying out Diagnostics & Fault finding Routine Servicing & Repairs on all JLR products Be able to work on hybrid vehicles. Maintain a good level of efficiency without compromising quality Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and in a timely manner Carrying out Vehicle Health Checks and liaise with service department your findings. Accurate use of the inhouse DMS (Evolution and Tech Mate) The type of person we are looking for would need to be: An experienced Vehicle Technician with advanced diagnostic skills (Dealer Level) 5 years uninterrupted service in a similar role. To be able to work unsupervised in a well-equipped workshop as well as be a Team Player and assist colleagues as and when necessary. Great communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to both colleagues and customers on occasion A full UK driving licence is essential. Land Rover experience preferred but not essential. Please note, salary advertised range is based on level of Diagnostic & JLR Experience, Both of which are a Bonus for us but not essential.
