The Role As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of Heavy Goods Vehicles to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and fully compliant with DVSA regulations. Full job description This is a full-time permanent role, with a basic salary ranging from £30,000 to £55,000 (depending on your experience and productivity level), plus overtime for those who wish to work additional hours. Key Responsibilities: Carry out inspections, repairs and services to the highest of standards within scheduled times, meeting company standards. Making sure all necessary Vehicle Health Checks are completed accurately. Take responsibility for ensuring all jobs are completed to a good standard. Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables and record usage. Adhere to strict Health and safety guidelines at all times.
