Job description/requirements – We are looking for a motivated individual with an interest in internal combustion engines. Engine reconditioning and hands-on machining to join our team. This role involves reconditioning cylinder heads, performing head skimming/facing and working with lathes, mills, boring machines, and crankshaft equipment.
· Operate and maintain older machinery, including lathes, mills, and boring equipment.
· Uphold high standards of precision and quality in all work.
· A strong interest in internal combustion engines and mechanical work.
· Basic knowledge of and experience with engine reconditioning, head skimming/facing, cutting valve seats, crankshaft grinding etc.
· Willingness to learn and work with older machines.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work.
· Able to speak, read and write in English.
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as a part of a team. If you are enthusiastic about engines and have the skills, experience, and have the interest to excel in this role. We would love to hear from you.
