Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mechanic to join our team at Spanners Garage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing all types of vehicles, while providing excellent communication and customer service to our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and inspections on customer vehicles - Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and technical issues on various makes and models of cars - Communicate effectively with customers and provide recommendations for necessary repairs - Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, following proper procedures and safety protocols - Keep detailed and accurate records of all services performed - Stay up to date on the latest automotive technology, tools, and techniques - Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanic in an automotive repair shop - Strong diagnostic skills and problem-solving abilities - Knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work - Valid driver's licence

Position: Vehicle Technician Company: Essex Automatic Transmissions Location: Harlow, Essex We are a family business, currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Essex Automatic Transmissions Ltd. As a Vehicle Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of makes and models, providing diagnostics, general repairs, maintenance, and more. We are also looking to set up for repair/maintenance o hybrid/electric. Working Hours: Monday-Friday: 8.30am - 5.30pm (Saturday available if there is an overflow) Lunch Break: 1pm – 2pm Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostics to accurately identify vehicle issues. Undertake general repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently. Specialise in servicing clutches and brakes to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Collaborate with team members to prioritise tasks and ensure timely completion of repairs. Requirements: Demonstrated experience in vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, preferably 3 years or more. NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair is preferred but not essential Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
