Quantity Surveyor – Specialist Commercial Interior Fit-Out (Buckinghamshire / London Projects) - £50k - £65k plus package (DOE) The Role: We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a busy, fast-growing team based at the High Wycombe office (minimum 3 days per week). You will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of interior fit-out projects, supporting senior management with cost control, subcontractor management, and overall project commercial delivery. Projects are predominantly in London, offering exposure to high-profile refurbishments and fit-out schemes. Key Responsibilities: • Preparation and management of subcontractor enquiries, tenders, and contracts., • Interim valuations, variation management, and final account preparation., • Cost reporting, forecasting, and budget tracking., • Assisting in procurement and overseeing subcontractor packages., • Measurement and quantity take-offs for interior fit-out works., • Liaising with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project budgets and programmes., • Supporting risk management and commercial decision-making throughout project delivery. The Ideal Candidate: • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a subcontractor, ideally in interior fit-out or commercial refurbishment., • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management, or related discipline preferred., • Strong understanding of commercial management, cost control, and subcontractor engagement in the fit-out sector., • Must live within approximately one hour’s commute of High Wycombe., • Full driving licence with own transport (required for travel to projects across London)., • Full and permanent right to work in the UK., • Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel and commercial software, with strong communication skills., • Proactive, organised, and able to take ownership of commercial responsibilities on live projects.
