Senfocus is seeking a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant to support children and young people (aged 5–16) with Special Educational Needs (SEN) during our half-term short break programme. Key Duties: • Provide 1:1 or small group support to children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex needs., • Assist children to access activities safely, including sensory play, creative sessions, sports, and community outings., • Support emotional regulation using positive behaviour strategies and calm, consistent approaches., • Promote independence, confidence, and social interaction., • Follow individual support plans and EHCP outcomes where applicable., • Work collaboratively with the programme lead and wider team to ensure a safe, inclusive environment., • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and daily feedback., • Support with personal care where required, • Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and equality policies at all times.
