Requirements: - Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role. - Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso equipment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. - Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hi! We are a new and exciting brunch cafe coming to serve all coffee-lovers and brunch-munchers from all over London. Hailing from Nottingham, this is Lilac's first venture in London. So we are on the hunt for the perfect team who will help us on our mission to become a thriving neighbourhood spot. We're looking for a vibrant, exciting and bubbly team of Baristas who are looking to be part of a small team. Lilac will often be a fast paced-environment and we expect our team to embrace this. Full-timers and part-timers both wanted too! Experience is not necessary, but passion is. We can teach you to make an amazing matcha, but not how to love making it. Although not essential, our ideal applicant would also have a budding interest in food and an interest in building workable skills in the kitchen. Ensure kitchenettes within the office spaces are stocked according to the standards set by F&B management. Monitoring stock of fresh food, long life products, and consumables. Follow health & safety and food hygiene standards at all times, recording due diligence and deliveries as required. Follow opening and closing checklists and procedures. Maintain café machinery by following usage and cleaning instructions. Requirements Some specialty coffee experience required, full beginner and intermediate training can be provided at the Assembly Coffee roastery. Some food prep experience and knowledge of best practice. A will to learn and take ownership of the Uncommon café experience.
