The Role You’ll deliver beautiful, high-standard grooms - breed standard and pet trims alike - in a calm, one-to-one environment where every dog is treated like a character, not a number. This is hands-on work with plenty of room to grow alongside the business. Day to day, you’ll: • Complete full grooms to a high standard - bathing, drying, clipping, hand stripping, scissoring, and styling to breed standards or owner preferences, • Confidently assess coat condition and skin health, and flag anything that needs attention, • Provide nail trims, ear cleaning, and finishing touches that make tails wag, • Handle every dog calmly and patiently, with welfare always coming first, • Consult with owners about their dog’s groom and aftercare - friendly, clear, reassuring, • Keep the salon and your equipment spotless and to a high hygiene standard, • Muck in as part of a small, supportive team of genuine dog people A Space Built Around Groomers Our salon is designed around the groomer’s routine, not just squeezed around the dogs. We are Everypawdy, a small boutique dog walking and training company offering services in Notting Hill, Kensington, Chelsea and Fulham. We are looking for enthusiastic, active people for this beautiful but physically demanding job. We are looking for people who want to be part of our little family, hang out with many dogs, learn more about them, or improve their dog skills. (We offer support for those interested in pursuing a dog training career). This is an awesome job, but unfortunately, it is not a summer job. As you can imagine, building the trust of clients and dogs takes time. Hence, we require committed people who understand that the dogs need to go out regardless of the weather or the situation. Below is a summary of what to expect from the role and how we operate. The Daily Routine & Hours We operate a structured schedule to ensure all our dogs get the exercise and socialization they need. • Shift Times: Your day is split into two main blocks:, • Group 1: 09:00 – 11:00, • Group 2: 11:30 – 14:00, • The Workflow: You will collect your group on foot, walk to the park, manage off-leash playtime, and drop them home., • Communication: After each walk, you’ll send a photo to the client's WhatsApp group and confirm the collection time for the next day., • We have two positions: Monday to Thursday (specify which one you are applying for please) Group Logistics • Group Size: A maximum of 4 dogs per group to ensure high safety standards., • Zones: All dogs live within a maximum 20-minute walk from the park. We rotate walking zones monthly to keep the routes fresh and ensure all dogs know all walkers. Physical Requirements & Gear • Activity Level: This is a highly active role. You should expect to walk between 15,000 and 25,000 steps daily in all weather conditions., • Uniform: We provide Everypawdy branded jackets, jumpers, t-shirts, and gear. You will need to provide your own comfortable, waterproof walking shoes or boots. Paid Training & Development We are committed to making you an expert in dog handling: • Onboarding: A 2–4 week paid training period involving shadowing and 1-on-1 dog handling lessons., • First Aid: Once you have completed your 3rd week of training, we pay for your 5-hour Pet First Aid certification., • Growth: We offer an optional yearly short course in dog training for those looking to further their career in animal behavior. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Dog Groomer to join our growing team. This is a full-time role in a premium, appointment-only environment where your skills and creativity will shine. Working Hours & Rota all to be agreed together • Full-time, 5 days per week, • Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, • Rota: Flexible rotation covering 7 days a week; some weekends may involve working together with another groomer to cover peak demand.
