An Ivy Senior Chef De Partie will possess a background in high volume and attention to detail. We invest time and development into this role ensuring our chef’s grow along with the business. We are looking for a Sous Chef to work alongside the Head Chef as his number 2. Laxeiro has made its reputation making home cooked Spanish food. Knowledge in Spanish food is important but not essential. The job consists of general chef duties. 5 days per week split into 2 shifts per day with a break between lunch and dinner. Covering Head Chef when off. Days off are Monday ( restaurant close mondays) Tuesday or Wednesday & one Sunday per month off. Working Hours: Weekday & Saturday 9.45am-3.30pm & 5.45pm - 11pm Sunday 8.30am - 5.30pm Wages: £35000.00 per year + £7k-£9k per year approx on tips We close through Christmas and New Year.
•Maintain a high level of personal hygiene • Interested and knowledgeable in all Pizza-making process • Collaborate with colleagues on cutting, slicing and cooking all ingredients needed for all selection of pizza • Keep a good standard of hygiene in all section including all different pizza oven and machinery • Tidy storage in both walk in fridges to be maintain at all time with a good rotation of ingredients • Maintain Luci quality and standards following all par levels avoiding waste of dough and ingredients • Follow all the assignments received from Head pizzaiolo • Keeping all ovens always at right temperature to achieve the same quality of pizza • Check constantly the proof process of the dough, avoiding overproof and then wastages • Collaborate with FOH staff and kitchen’s chefs to manage a good service and a counter always filled with fresh baked pizza up to Luci standard
