About the Role As a Teaching Assistant at Brick Lane School, you won’t just support learning — you’ll help shape lives. You’ll work closely with pupils who have a range of needs and strengths, supporting them through personalised learning journeys built on trust, encouragement, and consistency. You’ll assist with preparing engaging lessons, delivering hands-on activities, and providing essential emotional and physical support. Whether supporting learning in the classroom or facilitating outdoor activities, no two days will be the same. You’ll be part of a supportive, close-knit team that values your contribution and encourages your professional development as you grow in confidence and experience. What You’ll Do • Support pupils with varied and complex needs to access learning and develop independence, • Assist with the preparation and delivery of classroom and practical activities, • Provide tailored emotional, physical, and social support, • Work flexibly across classroom and outdoor learning environments You will have: • Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English, • A compassionate, adaptable approach to supporting pupils Brick Lane School is an independent specialist school in East London for autistic pupils.
