You are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1 \n • \n Work in small teams of exceptional people, who are relentlessly resourceful to solve problems and find smarter solutions than the status quo \n • \n Build the best technology in-house, using new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting \n\n About the role \n We’re looking for a Product Manager to help shape and grow the UK Cards product. \n This is not a traditional PM role focused on roadmap management, stakeholder coordination or writing tickets. We are looking for someone who thinks like an owner and operates like a builder. \n You should be someone who naturally questions how things work, challenges assumptions and looks for practical ways to improve the product. \n You will work closely with engineering, operations, data, finance and commercial teams to identify problems, validate opportunities and drive execution across the Cards business. The role combines product thinking, experimentation, problem solving and AI tooling. \n If you are excited by fintech, lending and building products in a fast moving environment, this role offers significant ownership and impact. \n What you'll be doing \n This role will cover a broad range of work across the UK Cards product. \n\n • \n Driving product and growth initiatives \n\n You will identify opportunities to improve customer experience, engagement, conversion and business performance. \n Examples include: \n\n • \n Designing and running experiments across acquisition, onboarding, engagement and retention \n • \n Improving customer journeys, product features and servicing experiences \n • \n Using data and customer insights to prioritise product opportunities \n • \n Defining MVPs and validating ideas before committing engineering resources \n • \n Working closely with engineering teams to deliver high impact improvements \n\n\n • \n Building operational leverage and AI-enabled workflows \n\n We want someone who actively looks for smarter and more scalable ways to work. \n Examples include: \n\n • \n Improving internal tooling and operational workflows \n • \n Driving adoption of AI tools across the team (Claude, Cursor and other emerging tooling) \n • \n Supporting development of AI-powered customer support and servicing \n • \n Automating manual operational processes where possible \n • \n Helping teams make faster and better decisions through better workflows \n\n\n • \n Owning cross functional problem solving \n\n The role requires operating across product, operations, finance, capital markets and customer servicing. \n Examples include: \n\n • \n Identifying operational bottlenecks and driving improvements \n • \n Coordinating complex initiatives across multiple teams \n • \n Translating ambiguous business problems into impactful plans \n • \n Balancing customer outcomes with commercial and operational constraints \n\n A core part of the role is continuously challenging how things are done today and helping the organisation operate in simpler, faster and more effective ways. \n Who this role is for \n This role is designed for someone who wants significant ownership and enjoys solving hard problems in fast moving environments. \n Typical profile \n\n • \n 4+ years of experience in product, strategy, consulting, analytics or startup environments \n • \n Experience owning products or growth initiatives \n • \n Strong interest in fintech, lending and technology \n • \n Comfortable working across both strategy and execution \n • \n Curious about AI and how new tools can improve product development \n • \n Interested in building and scaling products with real business impact \n\n You should be someone who \n\n • \n Thinks from first principles rather than accepting how things currently work \n • \n Challenges assumptions and asks high quality questions \n • \n Enjoys solving ambiguous and messy problems \n • \n Uses data confidently to make decisions \n • \n Moves quickly and tests ideas pragmatically \n • \n Is highly ownership and execution focused \n • \n Can operate independently with broad direction \n • \n Communicates clearly across technical and non technical teams \n • \n Is comfortable switching between product, operational and commercial contexts \n\n Why this role is interesting \n You will get exposure to: \n\n • \n How consumer lending and credit cards work in practice \n • \n Building and scaling one of the UK’s most successful fintech products \n • \n Product-led growth and experimentation \n • \n AI tooling and automation inside a real product organisation \n • \n The operational and commercial side of running a fintech business \n • \n Cross functional decision making across product, finance, operations and risk \n\n You will work closely with senior members of the Cards team and have the opportunity to own meaningful, business critical initiatives with significant autonomy. \n Life at Lendable \n\n • \n Winning team: the opportunity to scale up one of the world’s most successful fintech companies \n • \n Flexible working: flexible approach tailored to each role.
