This is a perm role based in Telford. Key Responsibilities: • Drive performance of your team and support functions to deliver efficiency., • Seek out new and innovative ways to deal with production issues, utilizing CI techniques., • Ensure compliance with all site Health and Safety Regulations, • Execute the shift training plan to improve performance / flexibility and organise any additional training through gap analysis that may be required., • Being responsible for the management and development of Team Leaders and colleagues., • Leading your shift on all food safety, health & safety and quality standards adherence., • Taking the lead on your shift for customer visits and audits, ensuring effective planning, co-ordination and delivery., • Help to implement continuous improvement initiatives across a range of areas. What We're Looking For: • Minimum 3 years managing teams within a fast-paced food or beverage manufacturing environment e.g. multiple SKUs, product changeovers, packaging variants etc., • Understands how KPIs are developed, and a track record of achieving results and ‘raising the bar’. Must be familiar with Production Performance Measurements., • Experience of continuous improvement in a production environment of implementing change through effective management., • Strong management skills and an ability to operate and make decisions under pressure, whilst having your team at the forefront of your mind. Must be people orientated., • A proven track record of close working relationships with all operational functions and an appreciation of what each function is required to achieve to execute the plan., • Experience of CI within FMCG.
