Lead Coach What we’re looking for: We’re on the lookout for dynamic individuals, with experience working with children, that can allow our Rugbytots to have fun and grow in confidence during their time with us. Think children's TV presenter rather than the next coach of the national team (we can teach the rugby side of things, we just need you to be outgoing and great with children! Rugbytots offer fun, structured play sessions for children aged 2 to 7 years old. Our coaches deliver sessions with energy, enthusiasm and excitement, to create an atmosphere that is unique and engaging for children and parents alike. We do this by delivering our specifically designed programme for each age group in a fun, dramatic and entertaining way, taking the children on a journey of sporting imagination, whilst teaching them how to catch, pass, kick and run with the ball and play as part of a team. Find out more about what we look for in our coaches Working hours: Saturday mornings Location: St Albans High School for Girls , AL1 3SJ & Verulamians Rugby Club, AL2 1DW Key attributes: · Experience of working with young children in a professional environment · Must live within a 15 mile radius of St Albans · An ability to engage with children with energy, enthusiasm and excitement! · An outgoing, bubbly personality · Excellent organisational, verbal communication and listening skills · Flexibility and adaptability · Ability to work in the UK Main responsibilities: · Lead, motivate and engage with the children in your classes · Work though the Rugbytots programme of games and tasks, to teach the basic core skills used in rugby in a fun and structured environment · Demonstrate games and skills with enthusiasm and energy, and provide positive feedback to the children · Ensure classes start and finish on time, and engage with parents What we offer: · Competitive rates of pay (£11 and £17.50 per hour depending on experience and role) · Full training (including Paediatric First Aid) · Uniform, coaching manuals and equipment · Being part of an amazing team of coaches Please note that a DBS check will need to be completed for successful applicants (paid for by Rugbytots).
