About the Role You’ll provide vital support to pupils, working alongside teachers and the multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised learning and care. From helping students thrive academically to supporting their social and emotional development, your role is key to creating an ASD-friendly, nurturing environment where every child can succeed. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about empowering young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing environment. Your Key Responsibilities: • Support teachers to deliver tailored, high-quality education, • Provide one-on-one and group support to help students access the curriculum independently, • Organise resources and classroom environments that promote learning and wellbeing, • Collaborate on Behaviour Support Profiles, Risk Assessments, Education Plans, and more, • Passionate about empowering young people with Autism and additional needs, • Calm, adaptable, and resilient in a busy classroom setting, • A strong team player with excellent communication skills Baston House is an independent day specialist provider of education and care for young people and adults aged 5 to 19 years who have been diagnosed with Autism (ASC). Baston House School ensures that our school environment supports learning and promotes the well-being of pupils and staff through a strong sense of community cohesion. Creating a sense of community, develop social understanding, improve well-being, enhance academic achievement, and develop independence are at the root of our school community.
