About us Coastline Galicia is a small independent fishmonger based in St John’s Wood, London, which is where we start and finish each day. We operate 5 days per week through Tuesday - Saturday. This role is available as a full-time job (working 40 hours per week) from 10:00 to 18:00 through Tuesday to Saturday. We pride ourselves on providing the best fish and customer service available. We are looking for a Fishmonger to join our small friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Fishmonger who takes pride in their craft, enjoys working with exceptional produce and thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment. Essential Skills needed: • At least two years’ professional fishmonger experience, • Skilled Filleter and all-rounder when it comes to fish., • Must live in UK and have the right to work in the UK., • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)., • Basic Maths skills., • Customer service experience. Main Duties: • Preparing, cleaning, portioning and filleting a wide range of fish and seafood, • Serving customers and helping them choose the right products for their needs, • Offering knowledgeable advice on preparation, cooking methods and flavour combinations, • Creating attractive, well-stocked counter displays, • Monitoring stock levels, freshness and product rotation, • Supporting ordering and helping to minimise waste, • Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards Our work environment includes: • Indoor and outdoor., • Food handling., • Opportunities to learn new skills., • Face to face with customers.
