We are looking for a Reliable long term candidate able to work in the weekends. main duties: able to open pizza dough (base), manage incoming orders and do pizza toppings. Need to be able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and experienced PIZZA and PASTA Chef. The successful candidate must have previous experience working in a busy kitchen. Attention to detail is essential, as is demonstrated culinary knowledge. The ideal candidate will be someone with the creativity and passion to produce memorable dining experiences from the freshest ingredients. Please note this is a small restaurant so the candidate will be expected to under all kitchen duties. • Proficiency working with an electric pizza oven • Good knowledge of authentic Italian cuisine • Able to work as part of a team delivering consistent service • Preparing pizza and pasta Dough and pasta • Maintain high health & safety hygiene standards
The Head Chef supervises the food prep and cooking, maintaining a fully stocked kitchen inventory and complying with safety and cleanliness standards. To be successful in this role, you should be able to manage the kitchen staff and guide them to deliver quality food on time. Working 45/48 hours x week (5 day / 2 days off) You will ensure all plates are properly cooked and served for our customers to have a pleasant dining experience. Responsibilities: Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders and quality check Supervise food prep and cooking Check food plating and temperature and quality freshness Establish portion sizes Schedule kitchen staff shifts Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, under supervision Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators) Keep weekly and monthly cost reports Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area Requirements and skills: Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager or Head Chef Knowledge of Italian cuisine Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations Excellent organisational skills Conflict management abilities Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends ELIGIBILITY: In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Responsibilities will include daily running and organisation of the kitchen operations alongside the head chef, production of baked goods and dough, making sure service runs smoothly and always up to standard. We are looking for someone to cover 45h/week , perks include just one double (early finish, 9-9.30pm) a week, Christmas and NYE off and a very flexible rota, among many others! Knowledge in Spanish food is important but not essential. The job consists of general chef duties. 5 days per week split into 2 shifts per day with a break between lunch and dinner. Covering Head Chef when off. Days off are Monday ( restaurant close mondays) Tuesday or Wednesday & one Sunday per month off.
