An excellent opportunity to join our thriving Neapolitan Pizza Restaurant as a Head Waiter/Supervisor at Bocca Bocca in Leytonstone. This is an exciting time to join the ambitious and friendly team in our growing company. As a Head Waiter/Supervisor you will be responsible for day-to-day duties of the restaurant, including training junior staff, evaluating customer satisfaction, promoting special menu items, monitoring waiters, assigning tasks, and solving customer complaints. You need to be able to lead by example, with an eye to learning and teaching others around you and most importantly provide a great experience and atmosphere for our guests. Our aim is to be one of the most personable, attentive & creative Neapolitan pizza restaurants in London; it will be your job to ensure guests’ expectations are not only met, but exceeded. An excellent opportunity to join our thriving Neapolitan Restaurant as a Restaurant Manager/ess at Bocca Bocca in Leytonstone. This is an exciting time to join our growing company's ambitious and friendly FOH team. We make delicious, authentic handcrafted pizza and we are deeply committed to using fresh, great-tasting quality ingredients. As a Restaurant Restaurant Manager/ess you will oversee the day-to-day running of the restaurant (managing and training your team, recruitment, achieving business targets). You need to be able to lead by example, develop and coach your team, and ensure our guests’ expectations are met and exceeded. You need to have: -Previous restaurant management experience, min 2 years -Ability to forecast sales and then manage a weekly budget inclusive of staff rota and costs. -Experience in providing succinct daily and weekly/monthly reports of restaurant sales against pre-agreed staff costs. -Demonstrable ability to manage a full P&L would be ideal. -Demonstrable knowledge of how to control Food/Drinks GP -Ability to organise stock management with weekly/monthly Stocktakes -A strong working knowledge of Tevalis is essential -A strong working knowledge of Food Alert is highly preferable -An understanding of managing a HACCP and Health and Safety system. -Working knowledge of reservations software. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor looking for a new role in an award winning, critically acclaimed group. The Restaurant Berenjak, the Iranian restaurant from Kian Samyani and JKS Restaurants, is to launch a new site in Borough Market this spring. It follows Berenjak’s first site, which opened in Soho in 2018 and was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2019. Berenjak Borough offers an expanded menu that includes several new homestyle Iranian dishes, alongside all the signature Berenjak classics. Just as the original Berenjak introduced diners to the flavours of Tehran’s hole-in-the-wall eateries, the new restaurant brings the classic charcoal-grilled kebabs, such as the minced lamb koodibeh and poussin jujeh tond, for which Berenjak is best known.
