Workshop Engineer (Full-Time) A growing and forward-thinking forkilft dealer is seeking a Workshop Engineer to join its team at a busy workshop location. The Role You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of material handling equipment, including diesel, gas, and electric forklift trucks. The role also involves working on customer-owned equipment as well as a rental fleet. Key responsibilities include: • Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on various equipment, • Diagnosing faults and ensuring timely, effective resolutions, • Completing service and job documentation accurately, • Following all health and safety procedures and maintaining safe working practices, • Working both independently and as part of a teamAbout You, • Experience working with material handling equipment is desirable but not essential, • Candidates with backgrounds in plant machinery, powered access, agricultural equipment, HGVs, or automotive engineering are encouraged to apply, • Basic electrical knowledge is advantageous, • Well organised, reliable, and punctual, • Strong communication skills, • Ability to use initiative and manage workload effectivelyWorking Hours, • Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00What's on Offer, • Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience), • Overtime opportunities, • Full product training provided INDENG Planet Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
