We are a small site in terms of covers, but very fast-paced. • Weekends: restaurant-style brunch service, • Weekdays: bakery, in-house bagels, sandwiches, waffles, coffee, cookies, brownies We are hiring a strong Supervisor who wants to move into management quickly. This is not a casual job. This is a 3-month proving ground. The Opportunity Start as Supervisor (hourly) at £13.50–£15.00 per hour + tronc (minimum £2 per hour, often more). After 3 months, step into a salaried Assistant Manager role at £32,000-£35,000 per year + bonus, if performance standards are met. Progression is based on: • Running weekend service independently, • Leadership and team control, • Maintaining pace and guest satisfaction, • Reliability and accountability This role is designed for someone ambitious and capable. This role IS for you if: • You have solid hospitality experience in a busy café, brunch, or restaurant, • You have acted as senior on shift or supervised a team, • You are confident leading service when required, • You understand pace, table flow, and guest satisfaction, • You are comfortable being hands-on, including cleaning and prep, • You want real responsibility and progression This role IS NOT for you if: • You are looking for your first leadership role, • You avoid responsibility during busy service, • You are not available to work weekends, • You struggle under pressure, • You are looking for a “see how it goes” job What You’ll Do • Lead and support weekend brunch service, • Act as senior on shift, • Maintain service speed and quality, • Train and guide junior team members, • Support rotas and daily organisation, • Uphold hygiene and operational standards You will be assessed on your ability to step up, not just turn up.
