Faith Hill Kitchen is expanding and we’re looking for reliable Kitchen & Food Service Assistants for our new Southend town-centre location. We are looking for people who are confident working in a busy food environment and can eventually manage a kitchen service independently. Duties will include: • Preparing the kitchen ready for service, • Portioning and serving Caribbean food, • Preparing sides and using fryers/kitchen equipment, • Packaging takeaway and delivery orders, • Managing incoming food orders, • Following portion and presentation standards, • Temperature checks and food-safety procedures, • Stock checks and notifying management when stock is running low, • Keeping the kitchen clean and organised, • Closing and cleaning the kitchen after service We are looking for someone who is: • Reliable and punctual, • Fast and organised, • Comfortable working independently, • Calm during busy periods, • Clean and takes pride in their work, • Available for evenings and weekends Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred, but you do not need to be a Caribbean chef, as the main cooking is handled by us. Full-time and part-time hours available. Immediate availability preferred. There is also an opportunity for the right person to progress into a supervisor/shift leader role as Faith Hill Kitchen continues to grow.
