Faith Hill Kitchen is expanding and we’re looking for reliable Kitchen & Food Service Assistants for our new Southend town-centre location.
We are looking for people who are confident working in a busy food environment and can eventually manage a kitchen service independently.
Duties will include:
- Preparing the kitchen ready for service
- Portioning and serving Caribbean food
- Preparing sides and using fryers/kitchen equipment
- Packaging takeaway and delivery orders
- Managing incoming food orders
- Following portion and presentation standards
- Temperature checks and food-safety procedures
- Stock checks and notifying management when stock is running low
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- Closing and cleaning the kitchen after service
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Fast and organised
- Comfortable working independently
- Calm during busy periods
- Clean and takes pride in their work
- Available for evenings and weekends
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred, but you do not need to be a Caribbean chef, as the main cooking is handled by us.
Full-time and part-time hours available.
Immediate availability preferred.
There is also an opportunity for the right person to progress into a supervisor/shift leader role as Faith Hill Kitchen continues to grow.
