Our popular local beauty salon in Brixton Hill SW2 is seeking experienced Beauty Therapist to join the team. Duties will include carrying out beauty treatments including waxing, gel and Biab manicures, pedicures, facials, lash and brow treatments and threading. You will be trade tested so if you don't have the relevant experience please do not apply. Other duties will include managing bookings, payments and inventory, and general cleaning and maintenance of the beauty room. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and hold the relevant qualifications (min. NVQ 2 Beauty Therapy or equivalent). You must be reliable and trustworthy, have exceptional customer service skills and live within a reasonable commutable distance. Full and part time positions are available. Key Responsibilities: • Perform facials, skin treatments, and massages tailored to different skin types. • Provide hair removal services, including waxing, threading, and shaving/trimming for men’s grooming. • Offer manicures, pedicures, and nail care treatments. • Apply body treatments such as scrubs, wraps, and exfoliation. • Advise clients on skincare routines and recommend suitable products. • Conduct male grooming services like facials, and eyebrow shaping. • Maintain high hygiene standards and follow health & safety regulations. • Build a loyal client base by offering a friendly and professional experience. Requirements: • Beauty Therapy qualification (NVQ Level 2 or 3, CIDESCO, or equivalent). • Experience in both male and female treatments is a plus. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Knowledge of different skin types and skincare products. • Ability to work independently and within a team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work in the beauty industry,Must be qualified as a Nail technician,in acrylic nails as well as in gel manicures and nail art, Pedicures,body waxing and other treatments would be a plus. Must be willing to work on Saturdays and maybe 1-2 Sundays a month,part time with a opportunity to stay as full time.

Experience - Previous experience in a beauty-related role is essential; No training will be provided. - Must be able to perform full body waxing. - Threading, Tinting and basic head and shoulder massage. - Ability to do Manicure & Pedicure treatment. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. - A passion for beauty product application and an eye for detail is essential. - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service. - UK Work Permit is required - Beauty room is available to rent if you are willing to work for yourself.
