You will help students develop academically, socially, and emotionally while ensuring that each child receives appropriate support and attention. Experience in special education is welcome, but we also encourage applicants who are eager to work with children of all abilities. These are paid positions. Key responsibilities • Support classroom activities, lesson preparation, and lesson delivery., • Provide individual or small-group support to reinforce learning., • Help create an inclusive environment for students with diverse needs, including disabilities., • Lead age-appropriate activities that encourage cognitive, social, and emotional development., • Assist with toddler care routines, including feeding, diapering, and supervision during playtime., • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues., • Monitor behaviour and use positive reinforcement to encourage constructive conduct. Experience and skills • Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is desirable., • Knowledge of special education strategies or experience supporting people with disabilities is advantageous., • Clear and effective communication skills., • Experience tutoring or mentoring children across different age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers., • Familiarity with classroom management and inclusive teaching practices., • A genuine interest in early childhood development and a commitment to helping young learners thrive.
