It’s fitting that we are situated in Covent Garden's bustling Theatre District…the hotel is pure drama. - Clean and service bedrooms, bathrooms and associated areas to the standard of hygiene and cleanliness required by the hotel. - Fully change all rooms daily with clean linen, ensuring creases are removed, dust all furniture, fully clean bathrooms, replenish any guest amenities, vacuum all rooms thoroughly. - Constantly update current location and status of room, when starting and finishing on the provided iPads. Report and record any rooms that cannot be serviced. - Report any maintenance issues on hotsos on provided iPads. - Dispose of all rubbish and dirty linen correctly, following department procedures. - Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used and stored correctly. Ensure that all equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition and report faults immediately. - Create and maintain a personal respectful rapport with all guests. Deal with their requirements and enquiries. Handling guest complaints promptly and with thorough follow up, referring to others when necessary. - Follow key signing procedures and take responsibility for assigned keys. - Hand in all lost property immediately and follow the lost property procedure. - Assist in special cleaning projects as required. Ensure that the hotel linen is treated correctly in accordance with the Housekeeping standards. - Ensure that all guest property is handled in an efficient and correct manner. - Report any damage to bedding, curtains, blinds and soft furnishings to the Floor Supervisor. - Report to the Floor Supervisor any room that does not require service, “Do Not Disturb” or double locked. - Report any shortage of linen, supplies or equipment to the Floor Supervisor. - Be aware of Health and Safety hazards and report these at once. - Attend any meetings or training sessions as required. - Assist and train fellow employees to perform similar or related jobs as and when necessary. - Carry out any other reasonable request made by Management. The ideal candidate will need to have worked in 4/5* hotels in the past and have good tenure in previous roles. We are a small team that is growing quickly and therefore we are always on the lookout for exceptional housekeepers. We care deeply about what we do - providing outstanding service to all guests and owners. We're currently recruiting for an experienced housekeeper to manage and be responsible for all changeovers in a high-end mansion block located a minute away from Baker Street. Currently up to 2 changeovers per day, this is a very busy building, which is often fully booked. We don't have set changeover days, so changeovers can happen any day of the week, including weekends so full flexibility is required. You will have full visibility of all bookings as they come in, so can plan your diary in advance. This is a self employed role, with a competitive fixed fee rate of £30.00 per changeover. Proof of personal liability insurance is required Our properties need to be cleaned to a very high standard in preparation for guest arrivals so we are looking for someone with great attention to detail and previous cleaning experience, ideally within the holiday let/end of tenancy cleaning sector. We are looking for someone who can prioritise and has excellent time management skills. A deep clean of all appliances (i.e. oven, fridge etc) is required at every changeover, and a full clean of the property, including floors, surfaces, skirtings etc, to ensure it is spotless for the next guests coming in. We provide linens and towels on site. All cleaning materials, vacuum, mop etc are supplied on site. At every changeover, on top of the deep clean, you will: Check stock levels for tea, coffee, cleaning products, shower gel etc and refill as necessary. Look out for, and raise, any maintenance issues or concerns with the friendly office team. We rely on you to bring to our attention anything broken, missing etc. Apply today and join our growing team.
