We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our Plant Repair Department as a Plant Fitter. You will be required to carry out maintenance, fault-finding and repairs to a wide range of construction plant and recycling equipment.

Responsibilities include:

- Operate & inspect plant or equipment in order to diagnose defects.

- Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using diagnostic equipment.

- Repair & replace damaged or worn parts

- Test plant or equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance.

To be successful within this role you will have:

- Qualification as plant mechanic/fitter or similar experience

- Proven experience working with a range of plant equipment, machines and hydraulic equipment.

- Confident in the diagnosis of electrical and hydraulic systems

- Good time management, organisation skills and be able to work to deadlines

- Ability to prioritise own workload and manage expectations

- Ability to weld would be an advantage

- Attention to detail

- Proactive approach

- Full UK licence

- CSCS card

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £50,000.00 per year
