We are looking for a Preschool Practitioner to join our fantastic Preschool located in the heart of Worplesdon, Surrey. Worplesdon Preschool recognises that our team is our biggest asset, so we are keen to find the right person to help us improve, develop and grow our amazing team. We are a pack away preschool operating five days a week 38 weeks of the year during term time. Mondays, Tuesday’s, and Thursdays are full days, Wednesdays and Fridays are shorter days finishing after lunch. Requirements Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years / Childcare Have excellent knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum and working with children 2 - 5 years Experience of working as part of a team Proactive with the ability to take initiative and make sound decisions. To be motivated and able to motivate children and team members Working as part of a team and being supportive as a team player Have excellent written and verbal English An ability to work on own initiative Engaging and caring manner with good organisational skills and intuition Experience in being a keyworker To be able to attend staff meeting half termly Roles and Responsibilities Support the Deputy when necessary Support the day to day running of the preschool Support and build a relationship with a small group of key children and be responsible for the continuing learning and development Provide care and support to the other children in the setting outside of your key group Support your colleagues, working as part of a team to provide a safe, caring, stimulating environments for all the children Maintain the expected level of safeguarding and confidentiality required within a preschool setting and ensure that the preschool policies and procedures are maintained at all times Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene and welfare whilst maintaining adequate supervision of the children in your care Support the management team in delivering the EYFS framework to the expected levels Any other duties that are deemed reasonable within the role SEND experience would be highly valued, with the potential to take on the SEND role. Full time Early Years Educator - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Either 4 days 8am- 6pm with a day off in the week or 9am - 5pm - Monday to Friday Round and Round the Gardens Childcare is a small independent full day care nursery open from 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, 51 week per year. We care for, support and develop little mind from the age of 1 year through to 5 years, in our nursery that has a huge emphasis on outdoor play, throughout beautiful 5 gardens areas. As well as the children we also support, develop and care for our staff members, ensuring that they are progressing forward in their careers as well and enjoying their day as much as possible on a day to day basis. Recently receiving a strong Good rating from Ofsted we strive to offer our children and families the best experiences and memories in their early years. All staff from Senior teams through to lunch time staff are part of a full time, valued and listen to to always ensure our nursery is striving to ensure we offer children the best experience in their early years as possible. We currently recruiting for a full time qualified Early Years educator, Level 3 and above, for our 2-3 years classroom and our 3-5 years classroom. Salary depending on experience and qualification is up to £26,000 per annum.

About Us halow project is a vibrant, growing charity based in Guildford and Woking that provides opportunities and support for over 200 young adults with learning disabilities to access social activities, educational programmes and supported living accommodation in south-west Surrey and beyond. About this role We are looking for a passionate and positive professional to join the halow team as a Year Leader on our Building Futures programme. Building Futures is our community informal learning programme which aims to nurture the independence of young adults and set them up for the next steps in their lives by providing person centred support across six concurrent year groups. Our activities take place across a range of venues across the local Guildford and Woking areas. As a Year Leader you would be responsible for leading and guiding a year group of up to 10 young adults, with the support of a Building Futures Project Worker. To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate experience of leading group sessions both in developing content and delivery; a natural and efficient organiser; a team player and self-starter with a can-do positive attitude and a good communicator who can proactively communicate with individuals within our network, the adults supported and their families and/ or support network.
