Job Summary: As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the face of the dining experience, providing high-quality service to guests in a friendly and professional manner. Key Responsibilities: -Greet guests and provide a warm, friendly welcome -Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about ingredients, specials) -Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems or order pads -Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly -Check with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly resolve any issues -Clear and reset tables -Handle bill payments accurately and process card/cash transactions - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area -Work as part of a team to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant -Follow all food safety and health and safety regulations Requirements: -Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer-facing role (preferred but not essential) -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask -A positive attitude and a team-oriented approach -Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed -Right to work in the UK Desirable: -Knowledge of food hygiene standards -Experience using POS systems
