As a member of the floor/barback team, you will undertake a dual role. As well as maintaining the back and the front of house to an excellent standard, it is also the floor team function to act as bar-backs ensuring the smooth running of the bar at all times.

Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Engage with customers to provide an enjoyable experience, taking orders and offering recommendations based on their preferences. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed and tracking usage to minimise waste. . Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele.
