The role of Sous Chef: - Cooking seasonal classic European cuisine, using quality fresh ingredients, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, taste, and presentation. - Being an integral part of the wider kitchen management team, helping to run our busy service, ensuring that all company standards are met and maintained. - All aspects of kitchen management including ordering of stock, stock control, people management and development, fostering a culture of teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement. - Working as part of a professional team within a highly organised, well-equipped kitchen. - Contributing ideas towards seasonal changing menus and weekly specials.
