We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our back-of-house team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in the smooth running of daily operations. --- Key Responsibilities Wash and properly store all cooking equipment, dishes, utensils, and kitchenware. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, storage, and equipment. Assist with basic food preparation when needed (e.g. peeling, chopping, portioning). Ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with hygiene and recycling standards. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies. Support chefs and other team members to ensure efficient service. Comply with health and safety and food hygiene regulations at all times.

Duties: 1. Manage a restaurant kitchen 2. Develop new recipes and dishes 3. Inventory control 4. Prepare traditional Japanese cuisines 5. Ensuring plate presentation 6. Dealing with customer complaints in relation to food taste/quality 7. Modifying recipes upon customers' request and needs 8. Ensuring food compliance and regulations are followed during the process.
