FLT Driver / General Operative Location: Stoke-on-Trent Salary: £30,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week Shift Pattern: Rotating Days, Noons & Nights Employment: Full-Time, Permanent The Opportunity Our client, a well-established business based in Stoke-on-Trent, is looking to recruit an experienced FLT Driver / General Operative to join their busy operation. This is a varied, hands-on position combining FLT driving with general operative duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a role where no two shifts are quite the same. The Role Working as part of an established operational team, your duties will include: Operating a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site Transporting stock and materials to designated areas Carrying out general operative and production duties Manual handling and movement of materials where required Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment Completing basic checks and following site procedures Working closely with colleagues to ensure daily operational targets are achieved Adhering to all company Health & Safety procedures About You We are looking for someone who: Has previous experience operating a Forklift Truck Holds a valid FLT licence/certificate Is comfortable carrying out general operative duties alongside FLT work Is reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team Has a good understanding of workplace Health & Safety Is physically comfortable with a hands-on role Is flexible and able to work a rotating days, noons and nights shift pattern What's on Offer? £30,000 annual salary 40 hours per week Full-time, permanent opportunity Rotating days, noons and nights Varied role combining FLT and general operative work Opportunity to join an established Stoke-on-Trent employer Apply If you're an experienced FLT Driver looking for a secure, varied role in the Stoke-on-Trent area, we'd like to hear from you.
