ROOM ATTENDANT MAIN DUTIES •Clean hotel rooms to required standards and by required deadlines •Complete regular cleaning routines (the task of the day) as per training •Change bed linen and towels •Make beds •High and low Dusting and polishing of furniture •Clean bathrooms, including vanity, sink, bath/shower, tiles/glass and walls •Vacuum and mop floors •Replace stock of guest supplies, such as shampoo, soap, brochures, etc. •Re-stock drinks in the mini-bar •Re-stock and clean the equipment used

Job overview : The Housekeeping department is key to ensuring that the guest feels secure, safe in knowledge that their room is treated with care, preparations for the guest arrivals in done correctly and in time, plus that any additional requests such as additional towels, and maintenance repairs are completed swiftly and to a very high standard. As a Room Attendant you will be responsible for providing the highest standards of customer care, greeting and acknowledging each guest which a smile. We are looking for an experienced cleaner, flexible to work during the week and during the weekend. The office is near to Covent Garden station, which is the meeting point each morning. We have some flats 10-15 min away by walking, but also 30-40 minutes away by train. The travel itself is not paid, but the time we spend travelling it is. We are cleaning daily 2-3 flats, depending on the size and distance. In the morning, the cleaners are coming to the office to take the keys, the cleaning products and the amenities such as coffee, shower gel etc. and then go to the flats. The start time may be different each day according with the tasks. 08:00-08:30 when we clean the offices, 09:30-10:00-10:30, when we have only flats. We can offer 0h contract or a position as a self employed, but a cleaner insurance is required. The rate is £15.40 per hour and the payment is once a month at the end of the month.
