Our client a specialist provider of high-quality residential care for children and young people aged 9 to 17 years are currently seeking a passionate, experienced Registered Manager to lead a 2-bedded children’s home in Weymouth, Dorset. The Role As the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality, person-centred care that supports children and young people to reach their potential and move confidently towards independence. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure the home operates in line with its Statement of Purpose and meets all regulatory and statutory requirements., • Provide strong leadership to the staff team, promoting a culture of openness, support, and continuous improvement., • Drive forward Quality Standards and aim for Outstanding outcomes in all areas., • Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and the development of meaningful relationships with each young person. The ideal candidate will be a committed and forward-thinking leader who shares the companies passion for making a positive difference in young people’s lives. You will have: • Previous experience managing a children’s residential home, with a proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings., • Strong people management skills, including team leadership, supervision, and development., • A strategic mindset, with the ability to contribute to service improvement and innovation., • A deep understanding of safeguarding, placement transitions, and care planning., • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)., • The opportunity to lead a committed and child-focused team, • Support from an experienced and values-led senior leadership team, • The chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable young people Please send your CV to or give us a call on 07771 731230.
