We're a brand new opening coming to Islington and by brand new, I mean we are finishing up renovations now and will be hiring staff to join us in the pre-opening phase. this will entail all the responsibilities below as well as a few extras Welcoming Guests and ensuring there service journey starts properly having a good knowledge of our menu after training and being able to guide our guests to a drink that will suit them Maintaining a high standard of service on the bar and floor to ensure our guests have a swift and excellent service Keeping the bar stocked, following Fifo and ensuring the bar is ready for service Cleaning the bar and bar area, washing glasses and wiping down surfaces and tables Taking cash or card payments from customers Keeping up to date with the latest drink trends to contribute to menu development Verifying the age and checking ID according to the challenge 25 policy on top of these things, as it is a pre-opening position there will also be the following Assisting the General manager and bar manager to clean and setup the venue to be ready for the opening assisting in menu development and tastings to finalise the menu Pre-opening training and mock runs before the opening night we will be open 6 days a week, tue-sun from 4pm-midnight/1am pay starts at 14ph + service charge for those with the right experience, we also offer a trainee position that starts at 12.50ph + service for those new to the industry or interested in joining the industry.
