We're now looking for a Commis Chef -- Hot Section to join our kitchen teams across our Central London restaurants. The Role You'll be part of a BIG MAMMA kitchen team, working in the hot section and preparing our authentic Italian dishes from scratch. This is where energy, precision and teamwork come together during fast-paced services. You will: • Prepare hot section dishes following our authentic recipes and kitchen standards, • Support the Chef de Partie and senior chefs during prep and service, • Maintain high standards of hygiene, organisation and food safety, • Work efficiently during busy services with a positive, proactive mindset, • Help create the best moment of our guests' day through every plate At Big Mamma, every dish is homemade, and every service is a team performance. Il Bistrotto is an Italian bistro in Chelsea, created in collaboration with Velier, one of the most respected names in the spirits world. We are an evening-only venue with a warm, vibrant atmosphere. We serve a menu of Italian tapas-style plates, designed for fast and energetic service. While this is a full Sous Chef role across all sections of the kitchen, the successful candidate will also need to be confident working in our bakery station, where we prepare our house-made Focaccia al Formaggio — one of the highlights of our menu.
