We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our fun, vibrant, family-run Caribbean restaurant team ASAP. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within hospitality and kitchen operations. Experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities: • Assisting with basic food preparation, • Washing up kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, and dishes, • Serving and packaging takeaway and delivery orders, • Assisting with serving food for eat-in customers, • Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean, tidy, and organised, • Sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness standards, • Supporting the Kitchen Manager with day-to-day operations, • Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, • Being able to work well under pressure during busy periods What We’re Looking For: • Hardworking and dependable, • Good team player with a can-do attitude, • Willingness to learn and take instruction, • Able to stay calm and work under pressure, • Passion for hospitality and customer service What We Offer: • Full hospitality and kitchen training provided, • Supportive and friendly working environment, • Opportunity to gain valuable experience within the food and hospitality industry, • Fun and welcoming family-run restaurant atmosphere, • Immediate start available
