As a Bartender at Skewd Kitchen, you’ll be responsible for crafting exceptional house cocktails, beverages and coffe while providing friendly, attentive service to our customers. You’ll play a key role in maintaining our high standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails - Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering questions about the menu. - Ensure that the bar and coffee stations are clean, stocked, and organised at all times. - Maintain knowledge of Skewd Kitchen s menu offerings and be able to recommend drinks or provide information on ingredients and preparation. - Handle cash, credit card transactions, and tips accurately, following company procedures. - Follow health and safety guidelines, including sanitising equipment and maintaining cleanliness of work areas. - Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up and breaking down the bar and coffee station. - Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and efficient workflow. - Create a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with customers and providing personalised service. Qualifications: - Previous experience as a barista, bartender, or in a similar customer service role is preferred. - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first attitude. - Basic knowledge of cocktail preparation. - Must be at least 18 years old (for alcohol service). - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. - Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. We are specialised in dry-aged beef selection from around the world and we provide some traditional Sicilian recipes. Food options are well-matched with a well studied wine list.
