Prepare a full range of traditional Indian curry dishes, both meat-based and vegetarian, to high quality standards. Maintain consistency and authenticity of taste and presentation across all curry dishes. Ensure the correct use and proportion of spices and ingredients in line with regional Indian culinary practices. Work alongside kitchen management to plan menus and specials, reflecting both seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen assistants in curry preparation techniques and safe kitchen practices. Maintain proper inventory levels for curry ingredients and spices, ensuring freshness and minimising waste. Adhere to all food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to respond to customer feedback and accommodate dietary requirements.
