  T&Nshrooms Ltd is a new and fast-growing gourmet mushroom start-up based in Glasgow. We are currently establishing our indoor cultivation facility and preparing to launch production of premium oyster and lion’s mane mushrooms for Scotland’s restaurants and local food markets. We are hiring our first team member — an enthusiastic Entry-Level Mushroom Grower who is keen to apply and develop sterile working skills to help establish Scotland’s newest specialty mushroom business. You’ll be hands-on from day one, learning commercial mushroom production while helping build a sustainable, community-focused local food company. We employ over 250 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland. Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Sustainability Adviser to our team. We are ideally seeking a candidate with an Environmental Degree and a good understanding of Carbon Reporting. This role would be well suited to a recent graduate with a sustainability-related qualification, though we are also open to conversations with more experienced candidates. For recent graduates, experience within a main contractor environment, particularly within HS&E. Knowledge of Quality Management would also be beneficial. Role & Responsibilities · Assist with the development and implementation of the Environmental Management System to ensure it continues to meet the requirements of ISO14001. · Work with the Group HSEQ Manager to implement the Company strategy to enhance our carbon reporting to include Scope 3. Implement the Company’s 3-year carbon reduction plan. This will include: o Develop and maintain sustainability performance dashboards and reports. o Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in environmental impact reduction. o Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry best practices, particularly in relation to SECR and ESOS. · Coordinate improvements within our ESG Strategy · Support the implementation of sustainability strategies and initiatives across the business. · Assist Site Management with advance planning with respect to Environmental issues and Carbon Reporting. · Provide practical advice and assistance in the development, review and maintenance of Construction Phase Plans which include environmental requirements. · Communicate correct interpretation of Company Policies, Codes of Practice and environmental requirements to the satisfaction of all parties. · To assist in the training of Staff, Operatives and Sub-Contractors at all levels on environmental matters. Candidate · Holds or is working towards an Environmental Degree and ideally has a knowledge of Carbon Reporting. · Construction knowledge and how it applies to the environment would be beneficial. · IT Literate (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) · An eye for detail. · Ability to prioritise and organise workload and work to deadlines. · Self-motivated individual. · Can maintain confidentiality. · Hardworking and a questioning mind. We employ over 250 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland. We are now looking to recruit a Quality Control Advisor to join the organisation to work within the HSEQ Department. The role would require someone with construction or Quality Control experience in construction who fully understands the requirements of project specifications and how they are transferred into the inspection and testing of works during the build process. We believe this is an ideal role for Site Manager / Supervisors looking to change direction, Construction QC specialists or those currently carrying out Clerk of Works type roles. The role will require visits to all projects / offices to ensure that the QC/IMS process is effectively implemented. Role & Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for • Review the QC process and ensure that no gaps are found and that all documents link across the main construction phase processes;, • Engage with the supply chain, starting with high risk S/C, to explain and upskill them to understand our process;, • Engage with the Project teams to ensure that they understand their roles within the QC process;, • Deliver training to internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our requirements are fully understood;, • Review IT Processes with the IT Working Group to develop solutions to simplify the QC processes;, • Develop a specific QC knowledge on specific quality issues and advise Bid Teams and Project Teams on how to avoid issues, • General day to day actions: Liaise with the CM at CPP development to ensure that the ITP Register is developed. Liaise between the CM/QS to ensure that QC is part of package discussions and the project requirements are clear to the S/C at order. Attend Pre-start meetings for selected high risk packages. Assist the Project teams to review S/C ITPs and assist where required S/C to improve their offering. Ensure that a programme of QC inspections are agreed between the Project Team and S/C and monitor the implementation of this. Review submitted QC Inspections to ensure that they are compliant with our requirements. Review that the QC Records are transferred to PIM at regular intervals by the Project Team / Admin and ensure at project completion that all records are held on the system Ensure that the snagging process is in place and being recorded by the project team Audit and report on the QC process. • Working with the HSEQ Manager to develop and maintain the company integrated management system. Candidate To be considered for this position the candidate should be: • Outgoing, team player who is confident working with multiple disciplines to drive improvements;, • Degree qualified preferably in quality management subjects or have a proven track record in construction management;, • Experience of working with ISO9001, 14001 & 45001;, • Driving Licence and ability to travel, when required;, • Have a clear desire to drive Quality improvements;, • IT Literate (Microsoft packages including Visio), • Confident in developing and delivering training;, • Experience within the construction industry is essential.
